The ballet "Carmina Burana" was performed at the Hierapolis Ancient Theatre

According to the statement made by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, the work "Carmina Burana" by German composer Carl Orff was performed in the ancient theater by the artists of Izmir State Opera and Ballet.
The orchestra, conducted by Vladimir Lungu, and the choir, conducted by Orhan Öner Özcan, presented a stage cantata.

State Opera and Ballet General Manager and Artistic Director Tan Sağtürk, whose comments were included in the statement, stated that they aim to reach every city and town in Anatolia, saying, "In addition to our established performances, we are eliminating geographical boundaries with tours and international festivals. We thank our art lovers for their great interest and kindness. We are proud that over 10,000 people are witnessing the same excitement here."
Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu stated that they are getting closer to the dream of "Denizli, the city of art" step by step and noted that this event brought them one step closer to this goal.
Pamukkale District Governor Uğur Bulut, Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Hüdaverdi Otaklı and many guests attended the event.
The event, which began with the Aşk-ı Memnu opera in June, continued with the Symphonic Neşet Ertaş Folk Songs concert at the Laodicea Ancient Theatre.
The event will conclude with the ballet Swan Lake, performed by the Ankara State Opera and Ballet at the Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Culture Center on November 29.
